Miguel and Angie were playing volleyball with a balloon, hitting it back and forth and spelling Angie's words a letter per hit.
"S," yells Angie.
"T," replies Papi.
"O," she rejoins.
"P," he finishes.
They continued on through her spelling list, ball, Papi, nose, girl, and so on. Finally Angie begins with "e".
Papi stops her. "You don't know any words that start with "e"", he says.
"Oh, yes I do," Angie replies.
"What word do you know that starts with "e"?" he asks.
"I know," Angie says, "it's Angie backwards!"
Incredulous, he declared, "You don't know how to spell Angie backwards."
"Oh yes I do," she says, and before he can say another word she spits out, "eigna!"
Believe it or not, she can spell most of her spelling words backwards by visualizing them in her head. She flabberghasted us both with that one.
