She talks all the time. She's even made the sound of licking an ice cream cone. But last night, as I sat reading upstairs, came the unmistakable sound of... singing! That's right. Though the words were unintelligible and the tune unrecognizable, there is no doubt that the variations in pitch were a midnight attempt at singing.
