Breastfeeding Observations

She watched Maddie nursing and observed, "When your breast is empty, you will have to feed her from the other one, Mommy. And when that one is empty, you will have to fill them back up. And Maddie can drink milk from that little sippy cup, you know, the one you filled up. And you will have to fill up your breast again by drinking milk."

The "little sippy cup" she's referring to is a bottle I filled one evening with pumped milk when Maddie took an exceptionally long nap and my breasts were overflowing. The entire monologue was completely unsolicited...I just nodded and laughed as she commented.

Children are so observant! Sounds like Angie is a great big sister!
