Every cloud has a silver lining, they say. I'm a personal believer in optimism. . . if you can't find the silver lining, you're just looking at the cloud from the wrong direction!

Colors
Though it looks simply awful on a '70s era Jeep, New Maple Leaf Green is perfectly dandy springtime clothing for maple trees!
You know, while I wouldn't have picked it myself, there is something wonderful about that car. Maybe it's just because I grew up with it, but a Jeep Wagoneer of the same year just doesn't look right in any other color!
I had a friend whos Fiat was the same color. It may sound pretty awful, but it just "looked" right. I think the Jeep is the same, looks right. ( sorry to jump on the " disagree w/Beckie train " )
So, though I'm not really fond of the color of the Jeep, it is comfortable and familiar to us all. However, the color really does look best on maple trees. And everytime I see a newly leafing maple tree, I smile because the name of the Jeep color is so apt!
When we first moved to Colorado, our apartment was on the entrance ramp to the interstate. There was a car that would rumble by every morning, and it sounded just like the Jeep. I looked out once and it was a Scout, but I still smiled every time it went by. I was still homesick back then. :-) Though if Mommy and Daddy ever wanted to get rid of the Jeep, I'd want it!
