Though I've been mostly observing from a chair on the patio, Miguel's been doing a lot of yardwork lately. I'm going to show you what the back corner of our yard used to look like. Now, this picture was not originally taken with the intent of showing the back corner, so you'll have to zoom in to look beyond that cement patio.

You'll see it's a bunch of scraggly ivy, decaying leaves and wierd bushes. In addition, there are two trees, one a maple, the other a pine, which Miguel recently felled.
Now, prepare yourself. I'm going to show you what he's accomplished in the last week or so. I'm awed and can't wait to plant flowers here...
So, anyhow, we've been planting new forsythia bushes, transplanting old ones, installing new Rhododendrons and getting bulbs into the ground (yes, I know I should have done it in the fall.) Oh, and did you notice the little weeping cherry in the picture?
It looks like it's all (finally) coming together!
