Resolution

Not a solution to a problem, but a deliberate and determined decision. That's the way I like to think of resolutions, though I seldom actually exhibit resolve. But I have gotten to a point where I must make some changes or risk true unhappiness, and that I am unwilling to do. And so, over the next few days I will put down on paper what it is I wish to achieve, how I will go about achieving it and determine a time frame in which to accomplish it. The trick is to set reasonable, reachable goals that don't overwhelm you everytime you think of them. And once you've achieved those goals, you can move on to a slightly harder goal...the next step, if you will. I hope that I can be resolute this time; if not, I don't know what the results may be.

Hmmm. This is an interestingly vague post. Is there more? Care to share?

Ohhhhh. I didn't realize blog colors were such a serious matter, but now I understand...

Hey, just as a little side-note...one of your blog links isn't working. I think she-who-hasn't-posted-in-three-and-a-half-months might have deleted her blog. All I can say, Jess, is, FINALLY!

As of this moment, I don't wish to discuss details. I am unhappy with some things about myself, some of which affect only me and some of which affect others. Some are physical, some emotional; some are going to be hard to change and others quite simple. I hope in the end, though, that all of the changes make for a happier me and those around me.
