My entry to the Flash Fiction contest has been posted. What a tingling feeling to read others' comments about something so personal as your writing. So far, no one is being mean about the entries, but so far, the entries are all good, I think. It's scary and cool all at the same time!

It's a very friendly blog. No one would slam you even if it was awful!

When I went through all the "Flash Fiction" entries at BF's site, your's caught my attention right away. There's something about the tension after lighting the candles . . . maybe because of all those 'funniest videos' we see on TV. Anyway, you certainly captured the moment. And thanks for your comment on my story as well.

But I'll be honest. There's one thing that bothers me about your blog here. How can someone be a fan of country music and not like "Friends in Low Places"?

That's what I say, too, Big Dave! Everything but Garth? Absurd!

I can't stand a singer who is off-key most of the time, and Garth most certainly is. Although the lyrics to a lot of his songs are great, I just can't stand his singing. Interestingly enough, when he went through his "Chris Gaines" phase, he was singing in a higher register and was on-key 100%. He's singing too low for his voice and it sounds bad. I just can't stand him.

Hi . . . I know you are busy a lot, and I talk to you all the time, so I know you're okay . . . but maybe you should post a "hey: I'm still here" post on your blog. It's been a while!

Love you!
