Every cloud has a silver lining, they say. I'm a personal believer in optimism. . . if you can't find the silver lining, you're just looking at the cloud from the wrong direction!

Up With The Sun. . .
I've figured out why Angie keeps waking up earlier and earlier each morning. She's rising with the sun. We sealed our windows this winter with that shrink-wrap plastic stuff, but we left the shades 1/3 of the way up, so that we weren't in complete darkness all winter. Except now that it's getting light out earlier, the sun comes into Angie's room, and I think, wakes her up. I can't pull the shade down, so I'm going to have to get heavier curtains. That's part of my mission for today. That and some new board books. Hopefully, I can remedy the problem and have Angie sleeping until 8:00 again!

That would drive me crazy, living in semi-darkness all winter. It's bad enough that the days are short!
I always hate daylight savings time, when the kids get up at six am. They don't care what the clock says. Delaney has always been the worst about that, to the point that I taught her how to tell time just so I could say, "I don't want to see you before seven!"
