"...and now for the favor part of this phone call," I said as I chatted with Sandie earlier this week. "Can you come over early on Friday and watch my kids while I go to a meeting and then when I get back you can leave the kiddos for a sleepover and take Anna and yourself home for some much needed rest?" I asked with enthusiasm, trying to make the deal sound better for her than for me. After a pause, she said, "Yes, I think that will work, but you'll have to remind me because I never have to be anywhere in the mornings, so I tend to forget appointments until I've almost missed them. Or actually missed them."
"No problem," I responded. "I'll e-mail you Thursday night."
"Ok. And then call me Friday morning," she laughed.
"Ok, I'm putting reminders on my phone right now so I'll remember to e-mail you on Thursday and call you on Friday morning." I was serious, even though we laughed about it. And even after writing this tonight, I'll probably nearly forget to e-mail her. Yep, this is how I roll... (Is it any wonder that Miguel continually asks me how I get through the day?)

So this runs in the family? Because I was really worried it was just me. :-) I forget what I'm doing while I'm going to do it.
lol So glad you wrote this. I knew something was happening on Friday . . . lol
Love you, sisters! Glad we're all losing our minds together :)
