Falling Flat

We went through a lot of trouble to host a 50th birthday party this weekend for someone whose children should have been doing the hosting. And the guest of honor thanked us by tearing down any decorations that had a 50 on them and popping the $20 50th birthday balloon. Though I can't pretend to know what it's like to turn 50, I'm pretty certain I'd never react in quite that way.

On the other hand, the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and stayed until well past the usual qutting time....

Turning 50 is not hard at all. If you have children you are not only mother and child but you are friends.

If your children have children, (which makes you one of the most wonderful thing in the world, a grandparent) then they now understand what it was like for you when they were children.

Hopefully, you are doing something you enjoy beside going to work.

At most important of all, you are still alive and even if you have problems in your life - it is a good day to be alive.
