Quantitative Analysis

Angie is learning about using numbers to measure things -- time, amounts, distances. We often hear things like, "We haven't seen Layla in like 15 years, or 10 or 9." And, "Maybe I can have like 10 cookies, or 8 or 3."

So, while looking at the package of Welch's fruit snacks, she noted a giant 10 on the front. "Why is it 10, Mommy? Is it 10 monies?"

"No. It's because there are 10 packages of snacks inside."

"Oh, then that means Papi can have some because there are lots of them. Maybe he can have like 10." Then she stopped and looked at me. "Oh, no, he can't have 10 because then I would be sad and there would be none left for me." Just as I was thinking how smart she was to have figured that out, she added. "Maybe he can have 9 or 3."

I just keep laughing!

Hm. I just clicked over from my reader...

You've changed things up a bit! (Though I must confess, I never have liked this template. Not enough color.)
