Kitchen Tip

I like to make stuffed shells. Yes, me, the perennial cheese hater, likes stuffed shells. I use the recipe on the back of the box of Jumbo Shells from Ronzoni, and it comes out great. But, here's the thing. It's really hard to get the filling into the shells with a spoon. So, instead, I snip off the corner of a heavy duty plastic storage bag (usually a ziplock or similar type bag, since they have the heaviest plastic) and fill the bag with cheese. Then, I squeeze the cheese out of the snipped corner into each shell, much like using a cake decorator's icing bag. I imagine you could use an icing bag, too, I just don't have any of those. It saves time and mess, I think, and makes the process quick and easy!

Ha! The reason I don't make stuffed anything is that I hate stuffing them...and I DO have icing bags. :-) Thanks for the tip, AND I didn't know you don't like cheese. Maybe that's where Brenna gets it. I'll let her know she has company. She'll be so pleased.
