Battle of the Bugs

I'm so disgusted by the moths flying around my kitchen that I'm not even concerned with the medium sized ant making it's way across my office wall at this moment. I've been preparing for battle all day and finally steamed the suspect cabinets this evening. If there were any eggs in there, I hope they're cooked. The only missing ingredient is fly paper. Not a single store in my area -- ShopRite, Target, K-Mart, Home Depot, Stop n Shop -- sells fly paper. I've looked and so has Miguel. Our final effort will be a dollar store somewhere. If I can find a dollar store, as they're rapidly closing down around us. Maybe Wal-Mart, though. They seems to have more stuff than the other stores do...

Anyway, I've thrown out all of the possible breeding grounds -- anything packaged in cardboard or plastic -- and am hopeful that the infestation will be over soon. I'm not sure how I'll be able to tell, but I'm hopeful still. May you never have a meal moth infestation.

I had one, in my dog food cupboard. I spent an hour killing every single moth. Then more time cleaning the cupboard, which had an attached drawer, with ammonia. I'm not sure where they came from, but I found a couple in some rice, and in my garlic powder (?). No trouble since. I did make sure I killed every single moth, though. Maybe they hadn't matured enough to lay eggs.
