Well, we're not pregnant this month either. We've been trying, and I thought I had a pretty good handle on my fertile days, but my period arrived a full two days earlier than I expected, giving me a 22 day cycle this month. I haven't been charting my temperature, mostly because I don't ever get a full three hours of uninterrupted sleep, but I thought I was pretty clearly interpreting the other two signs. I guess I'll have to make a better effort to chart my temperature.
I have a sneaking suspicion, though, that some of my cycles are anovulatory cycles. If that's the case, no wonder it's hard to get pregnant. So, I'll be putting a bit more effort into the charting of my fertility signs and see where that takes me. If it does turn out that there's a problem, well at least I'm armed with data to talk with my doctor about.

My reading somewhere along the line said that "light work" like taking care of a child in the middle of the night, wouldn't throw off your temperatures. I'd definitely give that a go. If your thermometer, like mine, remembers the last temp, you don't even have to wake up all the way. Set your alarm, take the temp, and go back to sleep.
Yeah, that's what I'm figuring, although that FAM book says that "shaking down a glass thermometer can increase your temperature." The first few times I took my temp I was careful to roll over very gently to get my thermometer...how silly!
I think I probably read it in the Catholic version, where they expect you'll be up taking care of one of your umpteen kids anyway. Do I have umpteen kids yet?
I think the ending "teen" indicates more than ten...you've a few more to go yet!
Oh, good.
