Every cloud has a silver lining, they say. I'm a personal believer in optimism. . . if you can't find the silver lining, you're just looking at the cloud from the wrong direction!

Time for Bed
I really was trying to put her to sleep, but she kept requesting different kinds of kisses. "Butterfly?" she asked, batting her eyelashes until I nudged my cheek up against her eye. Then I returned the kiss and sent her into peals of laughter. Then she leaned her forhead against my lips, waiting until I puckered and delivered a kiss before moving on to each of her cheeks, her binky and her chin. Finaly, she took out her binky (which apparently was going to get in the way) and mashed her nose into mine, staring straight at me, waiting for me to wiggle my nose back and forth in an Eskimo kiss. I laughed so hard at this that Miguel came to the bottom of the stairs and said, "That doesn't sound like sleeping!" Nope, it doesn't, but it sure is fun!
