Sandie and I teamed up for a trip to BJ's today. Normally, since Sandie has three babies and each cart has only two seats, she plops the twins in the back of the cart with Sarah riding in the seat up front, which, I imagine, leaves precious little space for actual groceries. Since I happened to have one empty seat in my cart, due to my only having one baby, I offered it to Sandie, who accepted with alacrity.
As we settled little Sarah, who's actually bigger than Angie, into the seat beside her, Angie squealed with delight. And throughout the trip through the cavernous grocery store, Angie continuously hugged and kissed Sarah, who mostly tried to dodge Angie's overzealous attempts at affection.
Watching her loving her cousin, though, solidified for me Angie's need for a sibling. We'll have to get cracking on that.

Just to clear up the grocery space issue mentioned in this post: I do seat Sarah up front and let the twins ride in the basket. To hold all of my groceries, I drag a second cart behind me.
I used to lug out the giant stroller with three seats in it, but it doesn't steer all that well when you have only one hand. So, we use the two cart system. Someday, the twins will be able to walk with me and I'll get to use just one cart . . .
