I've been asking for months, it seems. "Do you want to go on the potty?" "No," she refuses while pushing out a poop or pointing to where she's just peed in her diaper. It's frustrating to me, simply because she knows she's doing it, but doesn't want to do it on the potty. I instituted chocolate rewards for peeing on the potty, but that only worked for a day or so, and not consistently.
Last night, Miguel put a new toilet cleaner in the tank and this morning, the water was nice and blue when Angie and I went into the bathroom. She was immediately intrigued. "Poo-ty?" she asked me, her word for potty. "Are you sure? You want to go pee on the potty?" "Uh-huh." I asked three more times with the same answer. When I put her on the potty a stream of pee and a few farts came out and we were both grinning and giggling with joy.
But she didn't forget about her reward. As soon as she hopped off, she requested her chocolate. She requested to potty three more times, peeing once and getting another reward. Maybe it's time.

Yup...if she knows it's time to change her diaper, it's time to use the potty!
