Angie likes to sit in boxes. If there's a box on the floor, she'll try to sit in it, no matter how big or small. Yesterday, she made up a new game called "Rocky Rocky". She sits in a box, right now it's a copier paper box, and rocks it from side to side yelling "rocky rocky" at the top of her lungs. Then, she abruptly rocks it hard enough to fall over sideways and giggles uproariously as she's tumbling out of the box. Once she's regained her feet, she rights the box, climbs back in and starts it all over again.
What amazes me most about this game is that she's never heard the word "rocky" in her life, yet somehow, she equated the rocking we do to go to sleep with rocking a box from side to side and added an appropriate ending to it. I will never cease to be amazed at how quickly babies pick up language.

Very cute! I'm always amazed at the things they put together without being shown! They are far more intelligent than we realize.

I can't find your e-mail address! Sorry
Here's a link to a recipe for clotted cream. It's more involved than we thought.
Overnight kind of stuff.
Love you!
