Back in Blogland

I know, I took quite a little hiatus from blogging, but it was a necessary one. Since I procrastinated on my grading (again), I had to catch up by spending almost all of my free time grading and writing exams. But last night was the last exam, all of my papers are graded and I can relax for a few weeks before that craziness starts again. I have to find a way to streamline this grading process, or I'll go insane, though.

Christmas is all wrapped up here and tucked neatly under and behind the Christmas tree.

I've made lots of cookies to give to my tutoring students, with very few left over to expand my own waistline. I made banana cookies and ate half of one before throwing them all in the garbage. I learned how to make icing for sugar cookies and had some fun decorating them. I know what meringue powder is and what it's used for.

I haven't sent out Christmas cards yet because I haven't found the time to address them amidst my grading flurry and I've lost my address book, so I have to figure out where everyone lives again. I have to buy stamps too. Perhaps they'll get there right after Christmas, though.

::sigh::

What pretty little cookies! They are so festive and happy!

I don't think anyone will mind about the Christmas cards. We're all busy. We certainly understand!

I made my cards on the computer so I wouldn't have to sign them. :) By next year, I'll have the address book on here and I'll just use that handy mail merge function to print envelopes, too. Hopefully, Christmas cards will take...an hour, tops. :)

That's exactly the way I've done it in the past. But somehow, my online address book got corrupted, I didn't have a backup or a printout, and now I'm in trouble. Oh well, I know how to get to everyone's houses...
