Every cloud has a silver lining, they say. I'm a personal believer in optimism. . . if you can't find the silver lining, you're just looking at the cloud from the wrong direction!

Something Missing
I got my Classroom Direct catalog two days ago. As I leafed through the pages, thinking about all of the things I could use to teach Algebra and Geometry, I felt a twang of regret that I wouldn't be teaching for another year. I love staying home with Angie, but I truly miss the creativeness of teaching, the special challenges that teaching presents and the interaction with students and teachers. I'll look with longing at all of those supplies, but in the end, I know I'm right where I belong.

You can homeschool...then you can do both! And since you have a degree, in many places you can even teach other people's children. A private school.
