Every cloud has a silver lining, they say. I'm a personal believer in optimism. . . if you can't find the silver lining, you're just looking at the cloud from the wrong direction!
My potatoes and onions live in a small wicker garbage can (formerly my office garbage can) which gets shuffled around from place to place in the kitchen and pantry, depending on what's happening and where it is the least bothersome at the moment. I need a better solution, hence the question.

Mine are under the counter.
In a big bin under the counter, all rolling around together, along with the garlic, everybody naked. (No bags!)
I have a tin drawer that I use. It's built right into my cabinets and sits conveniently to the left of the stove.
