A Walk in the. . .I mean to the. . .Park

It turns out that it's a lot farther to the park when you're walking than when you're driving. It only took 15 minutes to get there, but the return trip took somewhat longer, due to my very tired legs. If I'm going to do that on a regular basis, I need to bring lots of refreshments with me!

Then I noticed Your "walk to the park thing." I've just started that too cuz I've developed this unattractive front end...

I've found that a glass of sports drink is helpful before and after the walk--especially for my legs. You might try that.

I'm trying for 10,000 steps a day, but don't make it very often.

Thanks, Paul. I'm doing it because my 1 year old daughter loves being outside, and I can only walk around the block so many times without getting bored. I had to rest up the day after before giving it another go. I'll try the sports drink. And lots of water too, now that it's getting hot.
