Turn Up the Heat

I spent yesterday washing and drying clothes: jeans first, then sweat pants, then baby clothes, then whites. It took each load about 2 and a half hours to dry. I was frustrated and thinking we need to clean out the air duct, even going so far as to ask Miguel to take care of it tomorrow. Just before I did the whites, I washed the cushion for Angie's high chair. The instructions "tumble dry low". Of course lots of things say this on their tags, but this one is vinyl and cotton and I didn't want it to melt. So I dutifully reached for the heat knob to turn it down to low when I discovered. . .it was already on low and had been the whole day. . .

I guess the air duct doesn't need cleaning after all.

The whites only took 60 minutes to dry.
